MDA Fill the Boot

Please join us in our campaign to fight MDA and help those in need by supporting the Wooster Firefighters this weekend at Buehlers Milltown and Lowes from 0800 - 1400.

The guys are available to share information about MDA, hand out coloring books and stickers for the kids, and have an engine on location for those interested in an informal tour of the apparatus.

Together, we can make a difference in a young person's life.

UPDATE: Thanks to a generous public and the time volunteered by Local 764, we were able to bring in $1376.00 for MDA...way to go!

Firehouse Run a burning success!

Mike Sherrick and the rest of Local 764 would like to thank all those that not only worked, but participated in the 2010 edition of the Firehouse Run.

The August morning dawned with clear blue skies and warm temps, perfect for riding the route through Southern Wayne/Holmes/Richland and Knox counties. Staging under a large American Flag raised 100' in the air with Ladder 138, the motorcyclists held a special place in the hearts of the children who were to ultimately benefit from their generosity.

The combined efforts 290 riders and close to 30 volunteers resulted in the donation of $6000.00 to be given to NOFF ACBC and Akron Childrens ACBC , for utilization within their burn camps and treatment centers.

Thank you all for your continued support for those less fortunate.
